Hernia Mesh Lawsuits and Settlement Updates
In the U.S, surgeons complete around one million hernia mesh operations each year. Nine out of ten mesh hernia operations using mesh implants. Ideally, mesh implants are designed to help reduce the chance of hernias recurring.
In reality, these implants have been known to cause serious health complications for a significant number of patients. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, these mesh implants are responsible for many of the hernia complications.
